現在は通路が設けられ、この角度からは撮影できなくなった一枚。これまで何度も撮影し、ライティングを試みたこともあったが、このときは自然光のみで撮影した。その光が、この像の静かな魅力を素直に写し出してくれたように思う。オールドレンズ使用。2017年撮影。
This photograph was taken from an angle that is no longer possible, as a passageway has since been built. I had photographed this figure many times before and had also tried using artificial lighting, but on this occasion I worked with natural light alone. I think that light brought out the figure’s quiet charm most directly. Shot with a vintage lens. Photographed in 2017.
